Objective

To provide a level of situational awareness – an integrated view comprised of visualisation and embedded traffic metrics of the traffic networks current performance.

Approach

Develop a Proof of Concept using agile, customer centric approach, combined digital capability, data & analytics, GIS and transport technical leadership to meet the Department’s use cases and scalability requirement.​

Outcomes

A system capable of absorbing large quantities of data in a time series database which can be queried and transformed with minimal computational power and delay. To date the solution has recorded, analysed and stored nearly 25 billion records.
