Projects

W2B: Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway Upgrade Project

Objective

To efficiently monitor construction activities of the 155km road corridor.

Approach

Performed monthly LiDAR and aerial imagery survey over 54 months period. Data processing and delivery was automated using cloud environment and web portal.

Outcomes

Increase efficiency in the design and construction process.

Melbourne Liveability Monitor (Metro Tunnel Environmental Monitor)

Objective

To utilise existing sensors for monitoring environmental impacts of construction, limiting the impact to sensitive sites and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

Approach

Development of an Internet of Things (IoT) platform which accepts different types of data from any sensor or data source. The approach aims to apply complex aggregation and multi-source insights.

Outcomes

The system aggregates the data received from the sensors and performs real-time analysis to enable compliance with environmental regulations via notifications and audit records.
