Objective

Asset information data collation ​and handover, for direct upload into TfNSW’s Asset Database called RAMS (Roads Asset Management System).

Approach

Develop automation processes to extract data from the IFC design models, the Work as Executed, survey models and drawings. Develop customised Python scripts, and FME workbenches. ​

Outcomes

The data was successfully handed over to the client and uploaded into their database, thus achieving a huge saving of man hours and human error.​
